16th month

16th month was fun!

we didn't know what to do that day;

ended up noel suggested smt good!

we decided to give our big plan a trial run!

we made chocolates - as in, we literally melted the chocolates ourselves and added all sorts of other ingredients in them!

like noel's unfinished baileys for example.

so now to get the phone, i have to pay additional 100bucks.:(

when the singtel guy told me that i was SOOO disppointed lah.
we planned for ages!!
to get the phones as christmas presents for each other.
since we had to change our phones any way.
we should get it meaningfully.

no idea why but all of a sudden, i feel the distance prevailing.

you probably won't lose friends that go overseas for further studies,
but somehow you build the distance in between.

i can hardly remember the laughter and crappiness that we all had back in secondary school days.
we used to have never-ending stuff to talk about.

recalling how we talked on the phone through the night into the wee hours,
and how aaron and i hear you sleeptalk.

they were vivid memories that became pretty much vague.
only when you're back then only i feel maybe nothing changed.

so throughout the match we kept skipping to panda then practically ended our hbo movie marathon at like 3plus am already after the match.

we intended to walk to mac's near montfort to eat shaker fries, but then our stomachs gave us away to prata.

been awhile since i went over to stay at noel's.

after being ill for oneeee whole week,

scenes flooded back to me after i watched this show today.

vividly one scene haunting me. repeatedly.

the scene of this dad,

in desperate attempts initially to save himself and his sons,

turned to sacrificing himself in order for his sons to be able to board the ship that could mean their survival.

they were stuck just a step below the platform where it leads to the ships - the only way to keep their lives from the end-of-the-world.

hundreds of people pushed right to the edge of the platform and many fell off.

the doors were closed, with the intention to only save the super rich and elite, leaving those people who were promised a seat to life, behind.

but after they made a tough decision to reopen the gates to take as many people as they can, the dad couldn't make it on in time for the closing doors.

but he made a desperate attempt to get his sons up.

as the door closes, one made it, but the other wasn't able to despite however hard the dad tried to push him up.

the dad then used all his strength and took a leap before his other son made it to the closing door.....

but that leap made him fall off the platform, joining the many others who perished to the depths.

that dad, was a horribly wealthy but selfish dad.

he paid greatly for a seat for his sons and himself to get a seat on the ship.

but could sacrifice others even if he was well able to afford to save them.

one line that kept coming to me was,

you need a billion euros to save yourself.

or else you probably don't stand a chance at all.

sad huh.

and only the elite gets saved.

fabulously sick day

i think something's dragging me down now.

draining my energy, killing my sleep, making my eyes really puffy every day.

the last 1 2 weeks really.

made me sick!

it wasn't that bad, 2 panadol cold pills made me better.

but i felt uncomfortable enough that i had to get off work a few hours before time yesterday.

sent my camera to the hospital (canon) yesterday. but unfortunately it had to be hospitalised.

honestly, i merely dropped it once.

saying to repair it, i need to cough out $197.

but it was still pretty.

perhaps it was the mood there or something, but noel and i went ahead and talked about hell lot of random stuff.

i am excited about both of us the entire time because i knew i could be myself when i'm with him.

he accommodated me and i ultimately picked KFC (at the other end of clementi). it was a while that i made a decision from between claypot and kfc.

so we headed to kfc but we took the LONGER route. one big round though we could have made a shortcut. (which we learnt about the previous time we made the same mistake.retarded.)

we haven't even entered the freaking doors of kfc and we saw HUGE CROWDS and LONG QUEUES in there.

like wth?

got even more pissed.

3. so sweet bf asked me again what OTHER stuff i want to eat.

then we walked on, still reluctant, i suggested on this freaking jap restaurant nearby.

then you know what the retarded person (idk if it's the same one) did? SHE WALKED NOEL ALL THE WAY BACK FROM COUNTER TO OUR TABLE THEN TOOK OUR FREAKING ORDER FROM THERE.
